Merry Christmas and the best negotiating tip of the year

Just in time for Christmas, here is the best negotiating tip of the year.

It has been a very hectic autumn and sadly some things just had to give in order to make the schedule add up, social media with the published negotiation tips being one of them. But back again and wanted to share some info and the best negotiation tip of the year!

One of the real highlights of the fall is to have had the great pleasure of spending a number of weeks traveling with Jeanette Ohlsson Carlborg to hold our joint course International Negotiation Techniques around the Nordic countries. Getting a lot of positive feedback on how we combine the topics of intercultural communication and negotiation techniques is of course great fun, but for me personally, the most rewarding thing has been to listen to the discussions and reflections that these topics generate among the course participants. Truly inspiring!

So, the best negotiation tip of the year? Well, it is a very easy one. It is simply, practice. To continuously practice is the absolute best way to improve your skills and something most people do not do when it comes to negotiations.

So make yourself a different kind of new years resolution, promise yourself to actively and consciously practice your negotiation skills, I guarantee that the future you will thank you!

With that said, I just want to wish everyone who has made it this far a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
